James' background includes nearly 10 years web development experience. He first plugged into the Internet in 1993 via a Powerbook 190c using the  Mosaic web browser. Over the years, he has developed SMS messaging applications, webmail applications, web service architecture, spam filtering software, ecommerce sites, search aggregation systems and web service aggregators for a wide range of products, clients and individuals. He is an advocate of online accessibility, implementation of standards compliant websites and is co-organiser of the Sydney PHP Group. James is the author of Customr's own web application framework, Centrik, which is currently in internal testing prior to a forthcoming beta release. He is always on the lookout for new ideas and projects and is currently reading: Founders at Work: Stories of Startups' Early Days & Designing for the Social Web James is Technical Director at Customr.
